Transiberian is a suspense film about an American couple who travel from Beijeng to Moscow by train and become entangled in a drug running scheme, by accident. Many turns and twists keep you on the edge of your seat for 120 minutes... 7.5/10...Rentable!...

Cloverfield

Probably one of the most anticipated and talked about movies of the year thrashed its competition in the box office, raking in 16.9 million on opening day in North America and 41 million the first week. Cloverfield is a monster/horror film directed by Matt Reeves. If you took “Godzilla” and “The Blair Witch Project” and stuck them together, you would end up with this. An overrated and over publicized film with shaky camera work but intense special effects.

The movie follows six New Yorkers after their party is abruptly stopped by an unexpected monster attack. The main characters in the movie are:
Rob Hawkins: the one that the party is for
Beth McIntyre: Rob’s ex-girlfriend
Hud Plat: the cameraman, and Rob’s best friend
Jason, Hawkins: Rob’s brother
Lily Ford: Jason’s Girlfriend
Marlena Diamond: Lily’s friend, and Hud’s crush

The whole movie films their brave attempts to get out of the city before it is destroyed by either the monster or the US Army.

Overall I thought the movie was OK. It could have been better with a more known cast. Also I thought the movie was way too short. Just when the movie got good, it ended. The ending was horrible in my opinion. I don't want to give anything away, but it was REALLY corny. There are rumors of a sequel flying around and I think it’s a great idea. The whole movie is filmed by an amateur (Hud) and I think that the idea that not just one film was made that day is a great idea. I give this movie 3 1⁄2 stars out of 5.

Interview with Selena Gomez

Tina: So how do you like Canada so far?
Selena: It’s absolutely the best! I’ve traveled a lot, but Canada is by far the best! I absolutely love the cold so it’s been really fun. I love just getting all bundled up and stuff. Since I’m from Texas we don’t get much cold, so it’s a really nice change. My mom and I love it here so much we want to get a summerhouse or something in Vancouver. It would be so much fun!

Tina: What is a typical day in the life of Selena Gomez, on set?
Selena: Well I wake up at 5:00am, then I drive to the set, I get hair and make-up and then I go to wardrobe. After I’m ready I run lines for the next scene, then I have school. Then I’m on set until 5:30. After that I hang out with the cast and call my family back home, and then I just sleep. And all through the day I eat…A LOT!

Interview with Drew Seeley

Terese: What comes first, music or acting?
Drew: Before filming [Another Cinderella Story], I would have said music. I loved being apart of the High School Musical tour, and I wrote some of the songs for it as well. But now I would have to say acting; it's a lot of fun.

Terese: What is the most romantic thing you've done for a girl?
Drew: I surprised my girlfriend with a weekend trip to Vegas; I took her on a gondola ride and we had a sunset dinner. I had this bottle with a message inside that was in the water and it said something like "I so glad you came, happy 2 month anniversary".
