Earth Day 2010

Earth Day is on April the 22 which is suppose to be...today!! 2010 is the year of CHANGE. We must go towards Green Thinking everyday!! At Burnaby South, The Green Team is hosting Earth Week from April 19 to 25, there are unique events : T-shirt sale that will support Green Team's School Organic Garden Project. Earth Day be Green , which is on April the 22. Moneyless Monday, Turn-of Power Tuesday, Walk to school Wednesday, No Trash Thursday, Good Food Friday and GO Green At Home: Sustainable Saturday and Sunday. Earth Day should be EVERYDAY, Well, it is Earth Days everyday for me!! Hope other schools have FUN,CREATIVE, GREEN Events planned for this year, or if not yet, plan ahead for NEXT YEAR!!

Burnaby South's Earth Day activites did a great job on promoting Earth day! It was a great success and many students enjoyed it very much. I'd hope to see these types of events in the following year! HEAL OUR EARTH!
