2.5 out of 5 stars

I personally didn’t like this CD very much at all. I’m normally into electronic music, but this, I didn’t enjoyed listening to. “Hustler” was too repetitive. It was almost as if the lyricist ran out of things to say so just repeated the same thing over and over. “Hotdog” was probably one of the only songs that I sort of enjoyed and the main reason for that is that in elementary school we used to sing it as a jump rope rhyme. It was good for reminiscing, but the originally happy and upbeat song itself was totally ruined. “Sleep Deprivation” was a fairly decent song with its pulsating bass and driven beat, but definitely not up to par with other electronic music that I’ve listened to.

In all honesty, I was happy when the CD was done. It was a pretty long and monotonous 35 minutes. The songs don’t really build up to a climax point, they just kind of flow along at the same tempo and volume level. Each track individually has its highlights, but when compiled together on this CD, just do not complement each other.

I wouldn’t recommend this CD to anyone because I myself didn’t enjoy listening to it. It was energetic though, so if you’re in the mood for energetic music that moves at a relentless pace, then this might just be the right CD for you.
